About the Business
So where do we start! Well, after much thought and planning, we decided to set up The Removal Team (it took us about 4 weeks to think of that name). We just couldn't believe how badly other people were doing it out there. Okay, there were the professionals, but too many just seemed to want to get in and out and down the pub as quickly as possible. We first opened our van doors in Jan, 2001 (or just after 8pm).
Within 3 months we successfully tendered for and won a contract to completely clear out a local college. It was at this point we realised that we were on our way and headed for a rapid rise from obscurity to prominence. Over the next 4 years, we continued to grow the company by developing a great reputation for carrying out an excellent service. Not only were we carrying out plenty of house moves, but we were also becoming very experienced at business moving too. In 2005, we decided to officially become members of the National Guild of Removers & Storers.
